Rosemary Brown (1916 - 2001) was an English woman, allegedly clairvoyant, who recorded musical compositions she claimed were dictated to her by the spirits of deceased composers who visited her frequently. She claimed that the ghost of an elderly Franz Liszt, which she did not recognize as such at the time, appeared to her when she was seven years old and promised to make her famous one day. When he returned some forty years later in 1964, it was to have his protégée, by then a London housewife, serve as a trans-dimensional amanuensis. Thus began a psychic flood which, over the course of about twenty years, would produce hundreds of piano pieces and other works supposed to have been the postmortem output of various masters from throughout the pantheon of classical music.
